this is insane what is happening in our world?! like, these two guys are just minding their own biz, trying to get back to Venezuela with some friends and BAM! US airstrike takes out the entire boat... can't believe they're actually trying to claim that the victims were narco-terrorists it's like, we don't even have evidence of that! and now these families are fighting for justice, trying to make sure their loved ones' deaths aren't just forgotten it's so messed up how the US government is using this "war on terror" excuse to justify killing innocent people... I mean, what even is that anymore? we need to hold our leaders accountable for their actions and stop this senseless violence
Man I'm so frustrated by this news . The fact that these families are being denied justice is just heartbreaking. It's like the US government thinks they're above the law or something . And the justification for the airstrike is really weak - if it was true that those guys were narco-terrorists, why didn't they specifically target their boat? It makes no sense.
And to think that 126 people have been killed in these operations already...that's just a number, but it's a lot of lives lost . I'm not surprised that human rights advocates are speaking out against this - it's clear that something is very wrong here . We need more transparency and accountability from our leaders .
This is getting way too crazy for me I mean, what even is the point of these airstrike operations? It's like they're just taking lives willy-nilly. And now the families are suing the US and saying it's all unlawful... I get it, but isn't there some kind of protocol or procedure we're supposed to follow here? Like, don't we need evidence before we start killing people? It feels like they're just making this stuff up as they go along. And what about all the other people who got caught in the crossfire? They should be able to sue too... I'm all for holding people accountable, but at least try to make it a bit more straightforward, right?
