I don’t usually comment but I think it’s crazy how fast this mysterious odor spread throughout the city . It's not like a natural disaster or anything, you know? Just a fire at a tire warehouse and suddenly everyone's complaining about the smell . I mean, I get it, fires are no joke, but shouldn't there be some kind of warning system in place to alert people when something like this happens? Like, what if someone was working out or having a party nearby and got caught off guard by the smoke? I don’t know, maybe that's just me being paranoid . But seriously, it's good that the fire department is investigating and trying to figure out how this happened .
I'm still trying to imagine what kind of weirdly potent smell is coming from Houston lol . I mean, can you even picture a tire warehouse catching on fire and releasing this crazy odor? It's wild that it was blowing all the way into the city like that. I guess fires can be super unpredictable, right? Anyway, glad to hear no one got hurt, that's for sure! Hopefully they get to the bottom of what caused the fire soon so everyone knows what happened. And, honestly, it's kinda reassuring that the authorities are all over it and working together with emergency management.
Ugh I'm so glad it was just a fire at the tire warehouse ... think about all those weird smells from weird places lately and you're like "is this one gonna be toxic?!" I mean, I know fires can be super scary but at least we got it contained, right? And yeah, no injuries reported so that's a good thing... fingers crossed everything else is okay. I'm just curious, are they still investigating the cause tho? Like, what really went down? Guess we'll have to wait and see
Ugh, great, just what I needed, another lovely mystery to solve... in my dreams . A tire warehouse fire causing a whiffy situation? How original. It's not like this is the 5th or 6th weird smell incident in Houston this year . And of course, it's got to be some boring old fire that just happened to be in the right place at the right time to affect the entire city... I mean, who needs a real investigation when you've got strong winds and smoke carrying all the drama? Anyway, glad the HFD is working with OEM to figure out what's up. Can't wait for them to give us an update ... maybe in 5 years or so .
omg u guys i was literally driving thru channelview this morning and my car smelled like burnt rubber lol what's up with all these weird odors popping up in houston lately? i mean, i get it, fires happen but this whole thing is kinda sketchy... the fact that it's still unknown why the fire started in the first place? not cool. anyway, i'm glad no one got hurt tho! the houston fire department is doing a good job investigating and keeping us all informed. but seriously, when are we gonna figure out what's causing these weird smells? maybe it's time for some better air quality testing in our city?
Ugh, I remember those old fire drills at school where we'd have to evacuate in like 2 min lol anyway, this whole thing in Houston got me thinking, why can't they just figure out what's going on with fires? It's always some warehouse or storage facility that goes up in flames and it's like, how did it even happen? And now the smell's all over town... I mean, at least no one was hurt but come on, Houston! You're a big city, can't you just keep things under control? And what's with these social media updates from the fire department? Like, thanks for letting us know, HFD, we were all just sitting around wondering if our city was gonna catch on fire while we slept .
