I'm so curious about this whole thing... why did Senate Democrats agree to a compromise that doesn't extend healthcare subsidies? Like, wouldn't it be better for people's health insurance? And isn't this just delaying the problem instead of solving it? Also, how do we know this bill is going to stop mass federal firings and reverse dismissals? Can't they just get that part from the Senate already? Meanwhile, I feel so bad for those furloughed workers who are struggling with paychecks... when's their next paycheck coming?!
