Venezuela approves bill to open oil sector to foreign investment after US pressure

its gonna be interesting to see how this plays out lol 🤔
i mean, private foreign investment is def a good start but we gotta see if venezuela can actually follow through on these changes
some ppl are saying it's a step in the right direction while others are like "hold up, whats the plan here?"
i'm not sure what to make of donald trump's involvement tbh 🤷‍♂️
anyway, only time will tell if venezuela can turn its oil sector around and bring prosperity back to its citizens 💰
 
Ugh, so now they're gonna let the US in there to save Venezuela's economy... it's like they think throwing money at the problem is gonna magically fix everything 🤑. Newsflash: it's not that simple. I mean, what's really gonna happen? Are they just gonna line their pockets and forget about the rest of us? It feels like a total sellout, you know?

And another thing, what's with this "tremendous wealth" nonsense from Trump? Like, does he think we're all just going to believe that myth? 😂. We need real change, not just some fancy PR stunt.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how Venezuela ended up like this in the first place. They had some of the biggest oil reserves in the world and now they can barely produce a fraction of what they used to. It's like they took all their skills and knowledge and flushed them down the toilet 💔.

And the part about needing a democratic transition? Like, is that even possible at this point? 🤯 The situation seems too messed up for anyone to be able to make decisions for the country anymore. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this overhaul thing actually does any good...

They're pushing for more private foreign investment, but at what cost? 🤷‍♂️ we know how that plays out - exploitation and profit over people 🚫. it's interesting to see the US trying to swoop in and rescue Venezuela's oil industry, but is this really about helping them or just serving corporate interests? 🤑 we need a more sustainable approach, one that prioritizes the Venezuelan people over profits 💸
