. I mean, the guy is an iconic character in Latin American culture, and his cartoons are still super popular today! The fact that George Lopez and Eugenio Derbez both dropped out due to concerns about cultural sensitivity is kinda weird... but hey, it's good that they're being more thoughtful about it now

I'm so hyped about Speedy Gonzales finally getting his big-screen debut! I mean, who doesn't love that speedy little guy outsmarting Sylvester & Daffy? The fact that Jorge R. Gutiérrez is at the helm makes me even more excited, he's done an amazing job with 'The Book of Life' and other projects. It's crazy that Warner Bros. tried this like 15 years ago but had to change plans due to cultural concerns... I feel bad for George Lopez & Eugenio Derbez who were attached before. Let's just hope they'll get to see Speedy on the big screen soon! 
gotta love seeing classic characters like speedy get the big screen treatment again its been a while since we've seen him on our screens but now with director Jorge R Gutierrez at the helm i'm hyped to see how he's gonna bring that fast-moving mexican mouse to life hope it captures some of that lucha libre spirit 
. I mean, we've been waiting for like, 15 years or something? But hey, it's not like he's the first Looney Tunes character to get a solo film, right? I remember when 'Space Jam' came out, that was a big deal back then... and now, with all these new movies and live-action stuff, I'm just excited to see how they're gonna bring Speedy to life on the big screen
