'We did not protect President Trump': US justice department releases 3m more Epstein files – video

The US Justice Department has released an additional three million pages of documents related to late financier Jeffrey Epstein, including files on the investigation into his associates, including former President Donald Trump.

According to the documents, which were made public after a court order, no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump was found. The files include emails, phone records, and other communications between Epstein and his associates, including those linked to Trump's inner circle.

However, the release has raised questions about whether the government had failed to act on information that might have implicated others in Epstein's abuse network. Critics say that releasing these documents now may be too little, too late, and that more should have been done to hold accountable those who enabled or covered up Epstein's crimes.

The Justice Department said that the release of the documents was a response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the Miami Herald in 2019. The newspaper had requested all documents related to Epstein's case, including communications with Trump and his associates.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of sex trafficking minors, but he died in prison in August of that year before he could stand trial. His death has been the subject of controversy, with some accusing the government of mishandling the investigation.

The release of these documents marks a significant development in the ongoing saga surrounding Epstein's case and its connections to Trump.

I'm glad they're finally releasing this info, but it's kinda suspicious that it took so long. Like, what if there was more to the story? 🤔 I mean, Epstein died in prison before he could even face trial, which is super weird. And now we're just getting these documents... feels like a bit of a PR move, you know? But at the same time, it's good that we're getting some answers about Trump and his associates. Maybe this will finally give us some closure on what really went down with Epstein. But I'm still not convinced... 🤷‍♀️

🤔 Like what's good about releasing 3 million pages of docs now? It feels like they're just dumping them out the window because ppl are still talking about it 😒. Don't get me wrong, it's better than nothing, but I think we need more accountability on both sides of the aisle. What if Epstein had a team of ppl who helped him cover his tracks and these docs prove it? We should be seeing some serious consequences for those who enabled him instead of just saying "we did our job". 🤷‍♂️

😕 I don't think releasing these documents 7 years after the fact is exactly what I'd call too little, too late... but at the same time, it feels kinda like they're just trying to cover their own backsides 🤦‍♂️. Like, if you had info that could've cracked open more of Epstein's network, why didn't you act on it sooner? It's frustrating for me as a viewer, because I want answers and accountability... but I also don't want to see anyone getting unfairly dragged down in the process. Can we just take a deep breath and be grateful that some semblance of truth is finally coming to light?

🤔 I don't trust this sudden release of docs just yet. Like, what's the real motive here? Was it always about transparency or was it just a convenient way for the DOJ to shift the blame elsewhere? 🚫 And btw, where were these files all along?! 🤷‍♂️ They only surfaced after that Freedom of Info Act request from 2019... sounds like a pretty convenient timing to me. 😒

I don't get why they're releasing all this info now 🤔... isn't it like, too late? I mean, Epstein died before he could even stand trial, so what's the point of knowing what was going on back then? 🤷‍♀️ And if there's no evidence against Trump, why is he still getting heat for it? 😒 It feels like the gov's just trying to cover their own backsides... but I guess that's how investigations work, right? 🕵️‍♂️ Still, these documents do raise some weird questions about what really went down at Epstein's place... was the gov in on it too? 🤯

🤔 I'm surprised they're releasing all this info now... feels like we've been waiting forever for answers about what really went down with Epstein 😔. The fact that no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump was found is kinda reassuring, but at the same time, it's unsettling to think about all the people who might be still getting away with their own dirty secrets 🤷‍♀️.

I get why they're releasing these documents now - FOIA request and all that 😊. But couldn't they have acted on this info sooner? It's like we're just scratching the surface of what really happened in Epstein's case 🌟. What if there are other players still hiding in the shadows? We'll probably never know until more docs come out, right? 💭

🤔 I don't get why they're still making a big deal about this now... like, 6 years after it happened 🙄. Can't they just let people move on? It feels like they're more interested in stirring up drama than actually getting to the bottom of things 💼. And what's with all the finger-pointing at Trump and his associates? That guy didn't even get charged with anything, but suddenly he's the main suspect 🚫. I just think we need to focus on keeping Epstein's victims safe and making sure something like this never happens again 🔒

It's crazy how the truth can be both liberating and frustrating at the same time 🤯... I mean, on one hand, it's awesome that we're getting more info about what really went down with Epstein and his connections to powerful people like Trump. It's like, transparency is a beautiful thing, right? 💡 But on the other hand, I'm reminded of how slow justice can be, especially when it comes to cases involving abuse of power 🕰️... It feels like we're always one step behind, trying to catch up with the trail of breadcrumbs that's been dropped. And then there are those who say "too little, too late" 💔... Is it ever enough? Can we ever be truly certain that justice has been served? I don't know, man... but I do know that this is a conversation worth having 🤝

Ugh 🤯 I'm so done with all this drama around Epstein... it feels like the justice system is only acting now because they got caught red-handed (or should I say, red-paper-tray?) with a FOIA request 😂. Three million pages of documents released at last... but what about all those who might've benefited from Epstein's ill-gotten gains? It's just not right that it seems like some people are only being held accountable because they got found out 🙄.

I do hope these documents bring some closure, though. The thought of Trump and his inner circle possibly enabling or covering up Epstein's abuse is just terrifying 😷. I mean, how many lives could've been affected? It's heartbreaking that it takes a FOIA request from a newspaper to get answers... shouldn't we be able to trust our government to do the right thing in the first place? 🤔

OMG I'm so relieved 🙌 that there's finally something being done about Jeffrey Epstein's case! The fact that no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump was found is, like, super reassuring 😊. But what really gets me is how the government is finally releasing these documents after all these years... it's like they're trying to say sorry for not doing their job sooner 🤦‍♀️.

I know some people are saying it's too little, too late and that more should've been done to hold those who enabled Epstein's crimes accountable 💔. But I guess you can't blame the Justice Department for trying... after all, someone had to follow up on that FOIA request 📝 from the Miami Herald in 2019.

It's crazy to think about how much controversy surrounded Epstein's death in prison... some people are saying it was mishandled and others say it was just bad luck 😳. I don't know what to believe anymore, tbh! But this release of documents is definitely a step in the right direction 💪. Fingers crossed that we'll finally get some justice for Epstein's victims 🤞.

I'm shocked they're finally letting us see what's been hiding in the dark 🤔💡 it's like, we've known for years that something fishy went down with Epstein's associates but this is a big deal because now we can actually piece together what really happened 📝 I mean, no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump is pretty reassuring, but at the same time, it's also kinda infuriating that the gov didn't act sooner on info that might've helped take down others involved in Epstein's abuse network 🤷‍♀️ It feels like they just left a whole trail of breadcrumbs for us to follow and now we're finally getting some answers 👀

I'm surprised they finally released these docs... I mean, it's about time, right? 😒 It's still pretty weird that no evidence was found against Trump, though. I guess you never really know what's going on behind closed doors, but still. This whole Epstein thing is just so messed up 🤕. Some people are saying the gov't should've acted sooner, and now it's too late... I don't know, man. Can't we just focus on holding those who enabled him accountable instead of all this back-and-forth? 🤔

OMG u guys!! 🤯 so like the US Justice Dept just dropped 3 mil pages of docs related to Jeffrey Epstins case & it's EVERYTHING!!! 📁 first off, no evidence of wrongdoing by Donald Trump lol what a relief 💼 but seriously, these docs raise some major questions... like why did they wait this long to release them? 🕰️ and shouldn't they've done more to hold ppl accountable for enabling Epstein's crimes in the first place?! 😒 it's all so messy & conspiracy-y now, but at least we got some answers... right?! 💯

omg u guys this is wild... so apparently epstein had all these deep connections with trump's crew but no evidence of wrongdoing found btw if u ask me releasing these docs now feels like too little, too late... what about the ppl who were allegedly enablin or coverin up epstins crimes?? shouldn't they be held accountable 2??

🤔 I don't get why they're releasing this now? Like 5 years after it happened. It feels like an afterthought, you know? The whole thing is gonna be all over the news again and everyone's gonna have their opinions, but what's the point of reliving it all now? The Justice Department says it was just a response to a FOIA request from the Miami Herald... yeah right 🙄. It feels like they're just trying to appease everyone instead of actually doing some real digging. And what about those who were supposedly enabled or covered up for Epstein's crimes? We're still not hearing enough from them, in my opinion. The release is nice and all, but it doesn't change much. Still too little, too late 😐.

Its kinda weird that they're releasing this info now, like after all these years. I mean, you'd think they'd've found something juicy by now, but nope, it seems like some people just got off scot-free 🤷‍♂️. The government's always saying they're doing everything they can to keep us safe and stuff, but sometimes it feels like they're more interested in keeping their friends close than holding them accountable when they do something wrong 💔. I'm not saying Trump is guilty or anything (though, let's be real, some of the stuff he said about Epstein back then was pretty shady 😏), but it's just weird that the Justice Department waited this long to release all these documents. Maybe they should've started digging deeper sooner? 🕵️‍♂️

omg can you believe it? like 3 million pages of docs just dropped on epstein's associates including trump 🤯 that's crazy! i'm low-key impressed that the justice dept actually released them, even if some ppl are saying it's too little too late 🤷‍♂️. i mean, who knows what info was hidden or redacted? but at least we're getting some answers now 💡. and honestly, it's weird that trump's team has been so secretive about their dealings with epstein... like, come on, guys, spill the beans 🤫. anyway, this is def a game-changer for the epstein case, and i'm here for it 💯
