'We need Target to stand up': activists in Minneapolis press retailer amid ICE arrests at its stores

I'm so done with people thinking that just because they don't want to deal with the hassle of speaking out on an issue, it's a free pass for Target to do whatever they want 🙄. I mean, come on guys! They're making bank off our hard work and now you wanna punish them? Give me a break 🤑. And what's wrong with having a relationship with ICE anyway? It's not like they're forcing anyone to work there against their will 💁‍♀️.

And can we please stop demonizing companies for trying to protect themselves from potential lawsuits or liability issues? It's not like Target is intentionally targeting immigrants, it's just how the law works 🚧. And what about all the employees who are actually advocating for immigrant rights and speaking out against ICE in their own communities? Why isn't that getting the same level of attention as this boycott nonsense? 🤷‍♀️.

I'm not saying Target is perfect or anything, but let's not be so quick to judge without considering the whole picture 📸. And can we please just focus on supporting companies that are actually doing something positive for immigrant communities instead of trying to tear down someone else 💖?

OMG 🤩 I'm so proud of the clergy members who occupied the atrium at Target's HQ! They're totally right to speak out against ICE detention & call for the company to denounce it. Target needs to take a stance here, ASAP! 💖 The fact that they've remained silent is kinda scary, you know? It feels like they're complicit in targeting immigrant workers, and that's not cool 🤕. I'm loving all the solidarity from Unidos & SURJ-TC - we need more people speaking out for what's right! 💪

The whole situation at Target is kinda concerning 🤔. They're basically profiting from the struggles of others and it's not exactly right. The company's silence on ICE detention is being seen as a tacit endorsement, which isn't cool. I mean, can't they just speak out against something that goes against their values? It's not like this is a new thing; other companies are already taking steps to protect their employees from immigration enforcement.

The boycott movement is gaining momentum and it's not hard to see why 🤑. Target has a lot of power and influence, so if they choose to use that to support ICE, it's gotta be said loudly. The fact that some clergy members took matters into their own hands by occupying the atrium is a pretty clear message: enough is enough! 💪

I think what bothers me most is the lack of concrete action from Target. If they truly care about protecting their employees, then they should take real steps to prevent ICE from targeting them. Until then, I'm with the organizers in saying that boycotts and protests are necessary to bring attention to this issue 🚫.
