I don't usually comment but I think it's kinda cool that Weber is finally catching up with the times . I mean, who doesn't love a good smart grill? The fact that they're making charcoal more high-tech and affordable is a game changer for outdoor enthusiasts . I've had my eye on these new Performer Smart Charcoal Grills and I'm stoked to see what they have to offer. The Wi-Fi connectivity and temperature control features sound like total win-win . But, you know, I do wonder if it's just a flash in the pan and whether they'll still be able to compete with the big boys once everything hits the market . Still excited to see how this all plays out though!
omg i just got back from vacation and i'm still trying to get used to my phone's battery life lol... anyway, this wifi enabled charcoal grill thingy sounds kinda cool i guess? but $799 is kinda steep for a grill i mean, can you even get a decent laptop for that price? and what's with the different price tiers? isn't it just one or two options? also, how does the wireless temperature probes work? do they come with like a special app or something?
I'm not sure about this new tech stuff... I mean, is it really needed for charcoal grilling? I've always been happy just throwing some wood on the grill and letting nature do its thing. But hey, if it makes cooking easier or more fun for others, that's cool, I guess. I've heard good things about the temperature control feature, though - my neighbor is super into smoking meats and this sounds like it could be a game-changer for him. Still, I'll stick to my old-school approach...
