️ I'm kinda stoked that HBO Max is giving us an early dose of "It: Welcome to Derry" on Halloween night . Three days before the original release date isn't too bad, especially for fans who can't wait to dive back into the world of Derry . The prequel episodes are shaping up to be super creepy and I love how it's setting the stage for the rest of the series . With Bill Skarsgård reprising his role as Pennywise, you know it's gonna be a wild ride . But gotta say, three AM might be a bit too early for some folks... maybe they should let us sleep before we're screaming at the screen .
man... what's with all these early releases? like, aren't we s'posed to be savin' the best for Sundays, right? it feels like they're rushin' into things, tryin' to get that adrenaline pump goin' sooner rather than later. and what does that say about our collective attention span, anyway? can we really stomach a good horror story in the dead of night? still, i gotta admit, bill skarsgård's back as pennywise... that's some seriously unsettling stuff. it's like, you think you know where this is goin', but then suddenly you're facin' your deepest fears. and that's what makes horror so darn effective.
