What to stream: 'Bridgerton,' 'Roman Holiday' and 'The Favourite'

I'm totally obsessed with how these three movies/TV shows have been doing lately 🤩. I mean, **Bridgerton** really hit the right note by taking a risk and going in a new direction with their Cinderella-inspired romance. It's amazing to see how they've managed to breathe new life into those classic tropes and make them feel fresh again 👀. And can we talk about the costumes and sets? They're always top-notch, but in this case, they really elevate the show to a whole new level 🎭.

And then there's **Roman Holiday**, which is just a masterclass in romantic storytelling ❤️. I love how it perfectly captures that pre-Netflix era of Hollywood romances, with Audrey Hepburn shining as Princess Ann. Her chemistry with Gregory Peck is undeniable, and the way the film balances their romance with the pressures of royal duty is just so well done 🙌.

But what really got me was **The Favourite**, which is like a wickedly clever satire that's also a fantastic period drama 😏. Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz, and Emma Stone all deliver incredible performances, and Yorgos Lanthimos' direction is just pure genius at this point 🤓. It's amazing how these three films have proven that there's still so much to be said about the complexities of royal politics and female relationships in period dramas 💁‍♀️.
