I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed in this year's CES - not much on the car front, if you ask me . Everyone's too busy showing off their tech and robotaxi projects . What happened to the cool new cars? The ones that'll get us from point A to B without breaking the bank or needing a law degree to figure out how they work . I know China is where it's at for auto innovation now, but can't we still have some good ol' American muscle or sleek European design on display? The US car industry's sales numbers are tanking and now the whole CES thing has become all about tech . Maybe next year we'll see a resurgence of actual cars... a guy can dream, right?
I just can't believe how different this year's CES was from all the other ones... I mean, what happened to all the cool new cars? It feels like every year it's more tech, less cars and that's a real bummer for me, you know? Remember when we first got our first smartphone and it was like, whoa, this is gonna change everything?! Now it just seems like everyone's all about those fancy AI robotaxis... and the cars are kinda, well, in the backseat. Last year I was actually thinking of getting a new car and I saw so many cool ones on display, but now there's not even much to see!
