Ugh, can't even get a decent meal without breaking the bank in Malibu 
. I mean, don't get me wrong, all these high-end restaurants are nice and all, but what about the people who just wanna chill on a beach with a casual bite to eat? Like, where's the affordable option? The fire was a bummer, but shouldn't we be focusing on reviving some of those smaller, local spots instead of just catering to the fancy foodies? And another thing, why do all these new restaurants have to have those super Instagrammable views? It's like, come on, can't I just get a good meal without having to take a million selfies with the ocean in the background?

I'm stoked to see top-notch eateries popping up and giving the town its due. The beachy vibes and stunning ocean views are a major draw, but let's be real, the food is where it's at 
. From fresh seafood to modern twists on coastal classics, there's something for everyone in Malibu. 
I've had some amazing meals at Neptune's Net and Nobu, and Clark's Oyster Bar is definitely worth a try! 
The community support after the fire was incredible, and it's awesome to see local businesses thriving again. 
As long as the "come as you are" vibe keeps on going, I'm all in for Malibu's food scene 
Like, you'd just walk up to the counter and order whatever caught your eye... anyway, Malibu's got that same vibe now, but with way better food! 
The lobster rolls are literally life-changing. I went to Clark's Oyster Bar last month and it was love at first bite. And can we talk about how great Nobu is? 
It's like they took all the best parts of their old spot and just... upgraded everything. But, you know, sometimes when we're scrolling through Instagram and seeing all these pics from Malibu, I'm just like "when was the last time I went to a beachside dinner that didn't involve a fancy schmancy hotel?" 
Still, it's great to see the town bouncing back after that fire. And let's be real, who doesn't love supporting local businesses?

. The Palisades Fire might have brought some much-needed change, but I'm not convinced that new businesses like Clark's Oyster Bar are gonna save this food scene from itself... yet
