I'm like super worried about these bats man... millions of them dying off it's crazy . They're like such a vital part of our ecosystem, controlling insect populations and all that jazz . And now with climate change and this fungal disease, it's just getting worse . We need to do something ASAP to help save them, like create more hibernation sites or whatever...
omg u guys can u believe 90% of some bat populations are literally dying off???? it's like a nightmare come true. i'm all for conservation efforts & education programs but at the same time i wish scientists could've found a cure already what if they don't? what then happens to our ecosystem? i just want to know more about this fungal disease, how is it affecting bats differently in different regions, are there any other animals that can be affected by it too?? the thought of losing these tiny creatures & their role in pollination & seed dispersal is heartbreaking
