I feel like the league is putting all its eggs in one basket - the popularity of individual players isn't enough to carry it on its own. I mean, sure, Ellie Kildunne and Ilona Maher are awesome, but what about the teams? The fact that Leicester Tigers have a points difference of -350 after 7 games is concerning... 
I think the league needs to take a step back and assess what it's really offering to sponsors before they can start attracting big-name brands. 
. And who needs a diverse league with teams from all over when you can just keep it to Sale and Leicester Tigers? That way, it's guaranteed to be boring
