I think it's crazy how we're debating whether to keep the triple lock when there are kids struggling to put food on the table! 
I mean, Dr. Cushion's point about intergenerational inequality is spot on - we can't just focus on pensioner poverty without thinking about the impact on future generations
. And let's be real, military spending is a massive drain on our resources, so why not allocate some of that cash towards addressing child poverty instead? 
It's time to shift the conversation from "who gets the biggest chunk of change" to "how can we make sure everyone has access to basic necessities?"
