Why Trump's lavish Saudi courtship leaves Israel on the back foot

I'm like totally stoked that world leaders are getting together to talk about important stuff 🤝! Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia might seem all over the place at first, but I think it's kinda cool that he's trying to find common ground with the Crown Prince and secure some major investments 🤑. And let's be real, $1 trillion is a pretty big number 💸. But at the same time, I get why people are worried about human rights and all that jazz 🤷‍♀️. It's like, we want to make friends with Saudi Arabia, but we also gotta remember what's important – like being pro democracy and stuff 🕊️. And honestly, I think it's a good thing that the US is trying to take a more pragmatic approach to foreign policy 🌎. Maybe this visit will be the start of something new and awesome 😃. And who knows, maybe we'll even get some progress on the Palestinian file 🤞!

man this visit is like a double edged sword 🗡️ you got one side where trump is trying to make a deal with saudi arabia and get some economic support but on the other hand you got people in the us who are super concerned about human rights issues and the whole Jamal khashoggi thing it's like, what's more important to you guys 🤔 the benjamins or the bloodshed in the middle east?

trump's visit to saudi arabia is like he's trying to make up for being friends with russians and chinese but he forgets that americans care about human rights too 💔. his love for autocrats is just a way to get some economic benefits, but it hurts our reputation in the world 🌎. we can't just ignore khashoggi's murder and pretend everything is fine. someone needs to hold trump accountable for this visit 🤔.

the whole thing just feels so wrong 🤕 like trump is just putting profits over people and democratic values are taking a hit in the process i mean we should be supporting our allies who respect human rights but instead he's like "meh who cares as long as they're willing to give me money" 💸 it's not even like he's being transparent about his motives either, it's all just this weird cloak of pragmatism that's making the whole thing feel super shady 🕵️‍♂️
