With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration review – take anti-nausea pills, she's back!

Meghan Markle's holiday special 'With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration' is an exercise in sheer emotional endurance. The 30-minute film begins with a jolly Meghan skipping through a Christmas tree farm, decked out in festive cheer and an aura of sanctimoniousness that quickly becomes overwhelming.

Throughout the program, Meghan indulges in cutesy holiday activities, including decorating trees, baking cookies, and hosting dinner parties for her friends. These scenes are intercut with snippets of conversation with various guests, including celebrity chef Will Guidara, tennis star Naomi Osaka, and Prince Harry, which occasionally inject a spark of humor into the otherwise saccharine proceedings.

Guidara's exchange with Meghan over their respective cooking skills is particularly cringe-worthy, as Meghan attempts to one-up him in a baking competition while he playfully teases her about her lack of culinary finesse. Meanwhile, Osaka's appearance is notable only for her visibly frazzled demeanor and polite but resigned responses to Meghan's queries.

The real treat, however, is the cameo by Prince Harry, who appears unobtrusively yet charmingly at a dinner party hosted by Meghan's mother. His aversion to various festive foods is both relatable and refreshing in its honesty.

Ultimately, 'With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration' feels like an exercise in forced cheeriness, with Meghan's relentless enthusiasm for all things festive wearing thin by the program's conclusion. While it may elicit a few smiles from viewers familiar with the royal family's public image, those seeking genuine holiday entertainment might find themselves reaching for some antacids or a stiff drink to counteract the sugar overload.

🤣 I mean, what's up with Meghan and her holiday special? It feels like she's trying too hard to be all cheerful and festive, but it just comes across as forced 🎄. And don't even get me started on the baking competition – girl, you're not fooling anyone with those fancy-schmancy baked goods 😂. But hey, I do have to give props to Prince Harry for being his usual charming self, even if he did say he's "not a fan" of certain holiday foods 🤣. Still, overall it feels like just another cheesy celebrity special – maybe stick to the day job, Meghan? 🙃

ugh dont get me wrong i love a good christmas special but this one feels like its been strung together with all the festive vibes 🎄🍫😒 megan's enthusiasm is just so...much 😩 and can we pls talk about how cringeworthy those cooking scenes are? 🤦‍♀️ will guidara's sassiness is on point tho 🍴👊 but overall its like watching a sugar high of feel-good moments that eventually crash and burn 💔 the prince harry cameo though was a nice break from all the merriment ☕️ still not gonna watch it again though, im good 👌

I don't get why Meghan Markle feels like she needs to make a whole holiday special just to celebrate Christmas 🤔. It seems like it's more about promoting her brand and spreading cheer, rather than actually having a genuine holiday experience. And honestly, some of the scenes in this special are super cringeworthy 😳 - I mean, who tries to one-up Will Guidara in a baking competition? Not me! 🍪👀 But hey, at least Prince Harry's cameo was kinda refreshing and relatable 🎄❤️. Overall, I think it's just a bit too sugary sweet (no pun intended) for my taste 👌

omg u guys i just watched this holiday special w/ Meghan Markle and idk how she does it lol she's literally so cheerful all the time even when she's doing normal stuff like baking cookies 😂 but yeah prince harry tho his cameo was actually kinda relatable like who doesn't hate eggnog 🤢 i felt for him 🙌 what about u guys did u watch it?

ugh, gotta say, meh about this one 🤔. like, i get it, she's just trying to spread some festive vibes and all, but it feels so... forced 🎄. like, can't we just have a chill holiday special without all the cringe-worthy moments? 🙅‍♀️ anyway, prince harry's cameo tho 👑, at least that was a breath of fresh air 😊

ugh i dont know how they expect us to believe all that saccharine stuff 🤣 Meghan just looks so annoying in this thing, like she thinks shes gonna win over everyone with her fake holiday cheer lol newsflash meghan: we can spot a try-hard from a mile away 🎄 especially when youre surrounded by people who seem as tired as osaka 🤯 and dont even get me started on guidara, lol his jokes are so cheesy 😂 prince harry is the only one saving this whole thing im just not buying into megans forced holiday vibes 🍿

🤯 I mean, what's up with Meghan trying to be all wholesome and festive like she's in a Hallmark movie? Newsflash: it's just not that convincing 🎄. And can we please talk about how cringeworthy those baking scenes are? I'm no expert, but Guidara seemed way more relaxed than the rest of us when he was talking trash about Meghan's cooking skills 😂. And Naomi Osaka looked so frazzled, poor thing - maybe just a little too much pressure to be all cheerful and festive 🤯. Prince Harry is where it's at, though! That guy's got some real relatability going on 👑. But overall, I'm just not buying into this sugary sweet holiday special vibe 💧. Can we have something with a bit more substance, please?
