just saw this play & i gotta say its been ages since i've seen anything hold up like this, still so relevant today
susan's world is literally so familiar, you know? the feeling of being trapped in a life that's not yours, with people who seem perfect but are actually just as messed up as you. sheridan smith is a genius, her performance is so nuanced & subtle it's like she's speaking directly to your soul
the supporting cast is on point too, romesh ranganathan as doc bill had me dead laughing
but what really gets me is how the play still doesn't shy away from the hard stuff, even if its tone can be a bit all over the place
