Yemen’s government says southern areas retaken from secessionist STC forces

I'm getting the feels like we're back in the 90s with all this politics drama 🤯. I mean, what's going on with these different groups and their alliances? The STC is trying to break away from the Yemeni government, but then Saudi Arabia comes along and helps them out... only for them to turn around and say they're not happy with it anymore 😒. It's like a game of musical chairs, but with guns and politicians 🎶.

I'm also a bit worried about what this means for the Houthis in the north. They're already dealing with a lot of pressure from Saudi Arabia, so now there's even more tension building up 🔥. And let's not forget about the UAE getting all tangled up in this mess... it's like they're trying to thread a needle while riding a unicycle 🤹‍♂️.

Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things play out. I'm no expert on Yemeni politics, but it seems like everyone wants something 🤑. Maybe someone should hand out some coffee and sit down for a chat... or a few cups of coffee 😴.

🤔 so yeah, because having a bunch of ex-STC members meet with Saudi officials to discuss the future of Yemen isn't a recipe for disaster at all... like, how's that gonna end in peace and harmony? 🙄 Meanwhile, the people of Aden are just chillin' on the streets, showing support for the STC, and I'm sure the government is all like "oh no, our control over southern Yemen isn't secure"... 😅 but honestly, can't we just let the South Yemen flag fly again? 🇾🇪 it's been too long since anyone's seen some independence around here 💁‍♀️

omg yemen is so messed up 🤯 what's going on with this stc thingy? it's like they're trying to break free from saudi arabia but then sao Arabia just backs them up and now the gov is all "we're in control"... like, how does that even work? 🤔 and btw, why are ppl in aden protesting against saudi arabia? didn't they know saudi was already backing stc? 🤑 anywayz, this whole thing is super confusing

🤔 this is soooo complicated... i just don't know what's gonna happen next lol... i mean, the gov just claims they're in control now, but ppl in Aden are still showing support for the STC and waving flags of former South Yemen 🇾🇪... it's like, what's the future of Yemen supposed to look like again? 🤷‍♂️ i feel bad for all these ppl stuck in the middle of this conflict... can't we just talk it out and find a peaceful solution? 😔

😱🚨 Southern Yemen's future is still super murky 🤯. I mean, one day it's under Saudi control and the next it's back in "hands" of the gov... like what even is happening there? 😂 The STC's situation is a total mess - they claim they're dissolving but also say they were forced into it? 🤔 And now thousands are protesting against Saudi Arabia, which just adds fuel to the fire 💥. I'm seriously worried about the Houthis too, all this talk of military action doesn't sound good ⚠️. It's like Yemen is stuck in this never-ending cycle of conflict 🔄. Anyone else think things can actually get better here? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 this whole thing is super messy. like, one minute you got saudi-backed forces pushin the stc outta key provinces, next min it's supposed to be all good between gov and stc 🙄. but meanwhile we got protesters in aden showin support for the stc, wavin that old south yemen flag...it's like, what's the real play here? is this just a power struggle or somethin'?

and btw, aidarous al-zubaidi dissolvin his group but claimin it was under coercion? 🤷‍♂️ sounds like a classic move to me. either way, i'm low-key thinkin the gov's control over southern yemen is just a temporary win 🏆. this thing's gonna keep boilin' over 'til someone gets hurt...
