omg I'm literally shook rn she's speaking truth to power and I'm HERE. FOR. IT sheriff Bilal is like the real MVP - standing up for what's right even when it's hard she's talking about ICE and how they're basically creating their own justice system which is wild like, doesn't law enforcement have to follow protocols or something? I love how she's using her platform to advocate for accountability and peaceful protest we need more people like Sheriff Bilal in positions of power

omg i just saw this news about rochelle bilal, philly sheriff, and she's so brave I feel like she's speaking truth to power and it's amazing to see someone in such a position of authority saying something that needs to be said... but at the same time i'm kinda confused about all these changes with ICE and law enforcement i mean i know there are some really bad things happening, but what exactly is going on? can someone explain it to me like i'm 5?

idk what's more worrying - the fact that sheriffs like Rochelle Bilal are speaking truth to power or that people are still clueless about what's going on ice is literally taking over our cities and nobody's doing anything about it. and no one's even having a convo about the actual impact of these policies on marginalized communities bilal might be saying that sheriffs need to be held accountable, but let's not forget that sheriffs are also supposed to be part of the problem
