YouTube To Use AI To Fight ‘Low-Effort’ AI Slop

AI is like a double-edged sword 🤯. On one hand, it can help YouTube weed out spammy or low-quality vids 💔. But on the other hand, it's also super easy for fake history channels or AI-generated content to spread misinformation 📰💻. creators need to be careful and not get caught in the false positive trap 😬. I think YouTube needs to do a better job of explaining how its AI tools work and what the criteria are for getting demonetized or banned 🤔. Transparency is key! 📝

🤔 I'm loving how YouTube is finally taking AI-powered moderation seriously! But let's talk about this whole "low-effort" thing... isn't it kinda funny how we're basically begging for algorithms to help us filter out cringeworthy vids? Like, isn't that just a fancy way of saying we're too lazy to watch whatever's actually good? 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, I think Neal Mohan's got a solid plan here - AI can be super effective in spotting weirdos... err, I mean, suspicious content. What's key is making sure those algorithms aren't biased against human creators who put effort into their vids. Can we get more transparent about how these mods work? 🤔

I'm so done with these low-effort vids on YouTube 🤯. I mean, who needs to watch a 5-minute video of someone lip-syncing to a song when you could be watching something actually good? 😴 But seriously, using AI to moderate content is a good idea - it's just gotta be done right or else we'll end up with even more fake vids spreading misinformation. And can we please get some transparency on how the AI is working? Like, what are the criteria for what gets flagged as low-effort content? 🤔 It feels like they're gonna have to walk a fine line between using AI to help creators and protecting their rights.

idk why they're making such a big deal about it 🤔. i mean, ai can help filter out trash vids but at what cost? like, i've seen some really low-effort vids get demonetized just because the algo thought they were fake news or something 🤦‍♂️. and don't even get me started on youtube shorts... if you're gonna let ai-generated vids have an advantage, then why not just make a separate section for them? that way creators who actually put effort into their vids aren't getting overshadowed by robots making vids in 30 seconds 🤖💨

🤔 i think yt is trying 2 address the low effort content issue but its a tough nut 2 crack. ai can detect spam & clickbait pretty well but whats gonna happen 2 human creators whos actually putting in the work? gotta find a balance btwn ai moderation & protecting those creators 🎯
