I'm so over the whole Vietnamese cuisine trend. Like, it's already everywhere and soon we'll be sick of pho and banh mi. I mean, who needs more noodle shops? Union Square is going to be flooded with La Dong wannabes and I'm just not feeling it 🤢. What's next, a Korean BBQ joint in SoHo? No thanks!
 
omg you guys i am literally beyond excited about this new vietnamese restaurant in union square!!! they're talking about broadening our palates and exploring new horizons and tbh idk how many times i've had pad thai from the same old spot on 5th ave i'm ready to level up my life with some authentic hanoi flavors 🤯🍜 i mean who needs avocado toast when you can have pho?! 💦 seriously though, this is huge for NYC food scene and i'm hyped to try it out ASAP!
 
Just had lunch there and I'm still reeling from the pho 🤯. They really got it right - the broth was rich and savory, not too salty or overpowering. The portion was generous too, I could've eaten a whole bowl myself. But what really impressed me was the attention to detail in the garnishes, they added this beautiful freshness to each dish. Definitely worth checking out if you're a foodie like me 😋.
 
Man, I'm not sure why I'm surprised they're finally opening up a decent Vietnamese place in Manhattan... I mean, it's about time someone brought some actual flavor to this overpriced food scene. But honestly, I'm still skeptical - is it really authentic? Are they just gonna water down the flavors to suit American tastes like every other restaurant does? And what's with the prices? $20 for a bowl of pho? That's highway robbery. Still, I guess it's better than nothing...

so another new restaurant just popped up in Union Square, yay 🙃. i mean, who doesn't love overpriced noodle soup and some obscure vietnamese sauce that's supposed to be "authentic"? not like it'll actually taste any different from the chinese place down the street... but hey, if you're gonna do it, do it right, and all that jazz 💁‍♀️. i guess what i'm saying is, if you're a foodie or whatever, this might be worth checking out. just don't expect me to join you for $15 a bowl of pho 😴.

OMG u gotta try la dong!!! 😍 i mean its not like ur gonna find real vietnamese food just chillin at a chinese restaurant in union sq lollll. they really did their research and put alot of effort into makin sure everything is authentic. i mean who doesnt love a good bowl of pho or banh mi??? 🤯 they got all the flavors and spices just right, not too spicy but not too bland either. its def gonna be one of those places u go back to like 5 times cuz u cant get enough
