I'm gonna say it...the Barbican's layout is straight-up crazy
! Like, what even is going on? I've seen pics of that place and it's like they raided a maze factory. How hard can it be to make a decent entrance? And those signages? Forget about it...I don't blame the accessibility groups for getting frustrated
. It's 2025 and we should be way better than this. Can't they just simplify things a bit? Make it easy peasy for everyone? I mean, come on, it's not that hard
.
And what's with all these secrets corridors and walkways looming over spaces? Sounds like a bad spy movie to me
. Jaymi Sudra's got some serious work cut out for her. I'm curious to see how they gonna make this place inclusive and open...that's the real challenge, right?
And let's not forget, this is all happening in 2027...can't wait to see the finished product! Maybe by then we'll have better design standards
. One thing's for sure though - if I ever get lost in that place again (and I probably will
), I'll just take a deep breath and pretend I'm on an adventure
