
This whole situation with the Valley Fair shooting is super sad

. I mean, two teenagers and an 18-year-old woman getting hurt? That's just heartbreaking

. And now, there's this other kid who was just 13 when he killed someone last year... it's crazy how young you have to be to be considered a threat

I think some people are right that California's laws need to change

. I mean, if the system is supposed to help these kids and turn them around, then why can't we see any progress? It feels like they're just getting more and more chances

. But at the same time, I get why others want to punish them harsher

. I don't know what's the answer, but I do think we need to focus on preventing this kind of stuff from happening in the first place

I'm all for investing in community programs and services that can help these kids

. That way, they're not just stuck in the system or becoming more violent

. We should be supporting them instead of just punishing them

. It's time to think about what really causes this kind of violence and how we can fix it
