I feel so bad for Theresa Stott and her family 
. That must have been such a traumatic experience 
And it gets worse with all these records showing structural problems since 2016... what kind of negligence is that?! 
I mean, it's not like they're trying to take advantage of people or anything (although, let's be real, the fact that they didn't address those issues sooner is pretty concerning 
). Stott's courage in suing and launching a GoFundMe campaign for her family is really inspiring 
. And I'm sending all my positive vibes their way 
- hopefully she wins this lawsuit and gets some justice 
I mean, 8 units damaged and a family left homeless because of neglect and safety failures? It's just not right. I've had issues with my own apartment complex in the past when it came to maintenance and repairs, but at least they responded pretty quickly.
I'm all for tenants speaking up about safety concerns, and it's crazy that management wouldn't listen or act on her complaints. The GoFundMe campaign is a great idea - maybe more people will see the issue and get involved.

. i'm low-key impressed she's taking on the owners herself, though - that takes a lot of courage 
. and ugh, the fact that management was offering other tenants better units but refused to help her family? that's just salt in the wound
