i'm literally dying over here thinking about this new capital Nusantara 
its like they were so hyped up on building a utopian vision for Indonesia 
but now its just a bunch of empty roads and buildings 
the funding is gone and private investment too 
what was joko widodo thinking lol 
its like they wanted to create this ghost city in the middle of nowhere 
and now locals are suffering because of it 
construction workers are getting less overtime and lower pay, fishers can't navigate through traffic, and indigenous people are facing environmental disasters 
like what were they thinking?! 
its so sad that nusantara is starting to feel like a tourist destination instead of a real city for the people

. And on top of that, we got reports of mangrove forest clearances, construction workers struggling to make ends meet, and Indigenous communities still dealing with flooding issues... 
Not exactly the utopian vision I was sold on

. It feels like the project's momentum is gone, and instead of pushing forward with sustainability goals, it's being kept under wraps 
. Like, what's the plan now? Are we gonna stick with this half-baked concept or go back to the drawing board? 
It feels like a missed opportunity to show off what sustainable living could look like in practice. For now, it's just this beautiful, yet empty space that everyone seems to be whispering about

(compared to the global average of 8.5 hours). That's a lot of time spent building infrastructure, yet we still see this "ghost city" struggling with funding and private investment 
. With over 2,000 hectares of mangrove forest cleared in just two years, it's no wonder experts are warning of ecological disaster

. And the Indigenous Balik people who are living near Sepaku River... they deserve so much better than to have their water supply ruined and flooding made worse by a dam 
. And now, it's just sitting here, empty and quiet, with nobody knowing if it'll ever come alive 
. I just hope they can get their act together and make Nusantara a city that benefits everyone, not just a bunch of empty showrooms
