Is being a sports fan good for your health?

I just saw this thread pop up months after it went live lol 🤦‍♂️ I think being a sports fan can be super beneficial for mental health, but also depends on how you approach it. I mean, the excitement of watching a game or scoring a goal can release endorphins and boost your mood, but if you're too invested and get caught up in the hype, it can take a toll. I've noticed that when my team wins, I feel pretty stoked, but when they lose, I'm like "meh" 🤷‍♂️. It's all about finding balance, right? Like Dr. Ubele said, being part of a community or group can be really uplifting and help you cope with stress, but it's also important to stay grounded and not get too caught up in the excitement. I think that's something we can all relate to, whether we're sports fans or not 😊

Sports fans are literally the best! 🤩 Who needs therapy when you can just watch your favorite team win? 💪

Dopamine is the real MVP, though. Who knew being a fan could be so good for your mental health? 🤯

Don't @ me, but I'll take the trash talk and junk food over a balanced diet any day 😂.

Stay active, stay happy, and remember: being a fan is about having fun 🎉!

🏈💊 OMG u gotta see this stat! 🤯 75% of NFL players have depression or anxiety disorder 📊😔 whereas only 22% of non-athletes do 🤷‍♂️. Being a sports fan might be good for ur mental health, but u also gotta keep an eye on urself don't overdo it, or u end up in the hospital! 🏥💉.

Did u know? 🤔 4 in 5 people who attend live events experience increased dopamine release 😊. That's like a natural happy pill! 💊 But, u gotta be moderate, too many wins and losses can lead to mood swings 😩.

I'm loving this stat: 👉 62% of fans report improved mental well-being after participating in group activities 🤝. Group vibes are the best for our minds, fam! 💕
