I think its about time these big tech companies take responsibility for the impact of their products on kids mental health 
its not like its hard to design a platform that doesn't encourage endless scrolling or likes 
I mean come on, theyre making billions off these platforms and yet theyre prioritizing profits over people's wellbeing 
its time for them to face the consequences 
I'm thinking, have you seen all those lawsuits against social media giants? Like, over 1,600 plaintiffs and 350 families, that's a lot of people who think these platforms are designed to be addictive and harm young users' mental health 
. It's crazy how one company can affect so many lives. I'm not sure what the outcome will be, but if Meta and Google really don't want to change their ways, they're gonna get hit hard .
. If these companies are just going to settle without really changing anything, it's not fair to the people who were hurt by their products . And now we get to see some of the biggest names in tech testify... Adam Mosseri on TikTok, Mark Zuckerberg on Meta... this could be interesting

I mean, we all know how hard it is to put down our phones, but what's even harder is watching our kids struggle with anxiety and depression because of it 
it's about time these companies faced the music 
I hope the trials bring some real change and not just a bunch of empty promises 
i mean i know some of these influencers can be super toxic and stuff but at the same time i love making vids and watching vids... anyway idk about all this trial business but i hope they find out who's really behind all the cyberbullying 
but seriously though it's kinda crazy that these companies are being held accountable for their products' effects on kids... like shouldn't they've thought of this before? 
this is a super tricky situation... i mean, social media giants are basically a part of our daily lives now ... but at what cost? it's like, on one hand, these companies need to be held accountable for the impact their products have on kids' mental health ... but on the other hand, you gotta consider that these platforms also provide a space for people to express themselves, connect with others, and access important info 
... and i hope that the trial will bring some clarity to this issue 
... maybe we can even learn from the companies' mistakes and come up with some new solutions 
... but at the same time, let's not forget that these cases are super complex and involve a lot of nuance 
... it's gonna be interesting to see how all this plays out
