I donโt usually comment but I think this is a super important case

. Like, we're talking about some of the biggest tech companies in the world and how they allegedly designed products that harm kids' mental health... it's wild

. I mean, I'm no expert but it seems to me like these companies have been pretty reckless when it comes to designing apps and websites that are supposed to be fun for everyone but end up being super addictive and toxic

And yeah, the fact that several of them have already settled with plaintiffs is a good start

. But at the same time, I'm not sure if just settling people off will really change anything

. Like, what's going to happen next? Are these companies just going to keep on designing products without any real accountability?

I don't know, maybe I'm just an outsider who doesn't understand the ins and outs of all this

... but it seems like we need some serious oversight from governments and regulators

. Or at least from parents and caregivers who can educate their kids about online safety
