Lutsharel Geertruida: Liverpool in talks to sign defender on loan

Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign Dutch defender Lutsharel Geertruida on a short-term loan deal, according to sources. The 25-year-old centre-back has been impressing at Sunderland, where he's currently on loan from RB Leipzig.

Geertruda's versatility is seen as an attractive asset for Liverpool, who are looking to bolster their defence with various injuries and suspensions. He can play in a variety of positions, including right-back and defensive midfielder.

idk about this one... seems like geertruda has done well at sunderland 🤔, but if he does end up at liverpool, i think they'll make him play as a centre-back all the time lol 😂. that would kinda limit his versatility...

Idk why Liverpool wanna loan someone new when they already got a solid squad 🤔💔. Just saying, Lutsharel's versatility is defo useful but do we really need another player?
