‘Marty Supreme’ is a masterpiece you’ll never want to watch again - Detroit Metro Times

omg i just watched mart supreme 🤯 and i'm still reeling from the experience 😩 timothée chalamet's performance as marty mauser is like a punch to the gut - he's so unlikable but at the same time, you can't look away from his trainwreck of a life 💥 the film is like a wild rollercoaster ride that takes you on a journey into the dark underbelly of america's obsession with ping pong 🏓 and the people who'll do whatever it takes to be a star

i'm not sure if i'd say i "enjoyed" the movie but i definitely won't forget it anytime soon 😂 it's like that one bad relationship you can't get out of your head - mart supreme is the cinematic equivalent of that toxic ex 👀 anyway, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who thinks they can handle a wild and unsettling ride 🎥

🤔 I'm still trying to wrap my head around this film... it's like, I get why people are saying it's uncomfortable to watch, but at the same time, I feel like Josh Safdie is making a point about how messed up our society can be. 📺 The ping pong aspect of it all just feels like a metaphor for something deeper, you know? Like, Marty's world might seem superficial on the surface, but it's actually a reflection of some darker issues. 💔 Timothée Chalamet is crazy talented, no doubt about it, but even he can't make me root for this guy... maybe that's the point? 🤷‍♂️ I'm still thinking about it long after the credits roll 😳
