Medusa celebrates grand opening in Detroit’s Midtown - Detroit Metro Times

I mean come on... who comes up with this name for a restaurant? Medusa? Like the snake-haired Greek mythological creature? It's a bit much, don't you think? 🙄 The food is supposed to be all about simplicity and letting the Mediterranean ingredients shine, but I'm over here thinking "snake" 😂. Still, I guess it's a bold choice... for a restaurant with such a bold name, no less! And I love that they're sharing stories through their menu, service, and hospitality - now that's what I call cultural heritage! 🤝 I'll def be checking this out when I'm in Detroit next, but only if they promise me some delicious pasta dishes 🍝👌

omg i cant even handle how much i love medusas vibe 🤩 its like a taste of italian heaven right here in detroit 🌃 i mean, who wouldn't wanna try dishes made with fresh olive oil and capers? 🍴 its like anthony lombardos sicilian roots are shining through everywhere 💫 and omg their hospitality sounds sooo inviting 🤗 cannt wait to try it out and support a new detroit fave 🙌💖

I'm telling you, this new restaurant Medusa is more than just a place to grab some Mediterranean grub 🤔. I mean, think about it, they've got a whole backstory with the menu and service... sounds like they're trying to brainwash people into loving Sicily 😂. And have you noticed that the owner, Anthony Lombardo, has been in other spots before? Like, wasn't there some food truck or something that closed down mysteriously? 🚨 I'm just saying, there's more to this story than meets the eye... and I'll be keeping an eye on Medusa 👀.

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." I think Medusa has a great shot at making a lasting presence in Midtown, but it's all about how Detroiters respond to their unique flavors and experiences 🤔💯

🍴 just had lunch at this new place in Midtown and I gotta say it was 🔥! the whole vibe is so on point, from the decor to the service... really feels like you're in the Mediterranean 🌊. the food's not too fancy but it's got that authentic, homemade feel which i love. chef lombardo clearly knows his stuff 💡 and it shows in every dish. also super cool how they're sharing the story of sicily through their menu - gives you so much more context to enjoy your meal 📚. definitely gonna be back for more! 👍
