I think its crazy how these reforms are needed after someone gets killed by a cop. Like, who needs to be armed when you can just talk people down from a mental health crisis? It makes sense that they're trying to get more psychological screenings and training for first responders. Its all about creating a safer community where everyone feels welcome. The fact that there's a unified 911 dispatch system and a mental health board is a great start. But its gonna take time and effort from the community to make real change happen

u guys cant even imagine how frustrating it must be 4 those ppl whos loved ones got murdered by a cop Sonya Masseys story broke my heart n i can only imagine how hurtful it must b 2 her fam n friends . these reforms r nt just about policin, its about makin a diff in ppl's lives . psychological screenings 4 all first responders? yessss, please . mental health board? unified 911 dispatch system? its all bout creatin a safer community 4 every1 . i wish we cud b more like Sangamon County tho, takin steps 2 prevent these tragedies from happenin in the future . i hope ppl r payin attention & gettin involved in makin a change . its time 4 us 2 take action & demand better
