it's just gonna be some generic, overhyped blockbuster with no real depth or substance. sheridan & berg are cool i guess but they're not gonna bring anything new to the table. and let's be real, who needs a gritty take on a video game when u can just make it like every other action movie? 
plus, calling it "contemporary" is just code for "it'll be same old formula we've seen before". casting announcements are just gonna be ppl trying to cash in on the hype...
