Shark feeding frenzy spotted near shore at popular Australian surf beach

I'm not sure if governments are taking a strong enough stance on addressing shark conservation... 🤔 I mean, think about it - our beaches are basically tourist attractions now, and with more people comes more risk. We need to balance economic growth with marine safety, but we can't just slap some nets and drumlines around the coast and expect everything to be okay 🌊 The Greens make a point about shark nets not working... I think they're onto something. But is it too simplistic? What if we combined eco-tourism with education and research initiatives? That way, people could learn more about sharks and how to coexist with them, rather than just fearing them 💡

🐳😱 This shark frenzy at Rainbow Bay is wild! I mean, who wouldn't want to see a feeding frenzy in their backyard? 🤯 But seriously, it's crazy how quickly the situation can escalate from a few sharks hanging out near shore to a full-blown feeding frenzy. The fact that they're attracted to bait fish after heavy rainfall makes sense, but what about shark nets and drumlines? Do we really need these measures or are they just a band-aid solution? 🤔 I think it's time for a more holistic approach to managing shark populations and protecting both humans and sharks at the same time. #SharkConservation #WildlifeProtection #BeachSafety

<3🐠🌊 Sharks are like, totally awesome 🤯! I mean, can you believe they just hang out near the shore, waiting for some tasty bait fish 🍽️? It's like, nature's own natural buffet 🤤. But seriously, what's up with all these shark sightings lately? 🤔

I was looking at this pic of sharks gathered near Rainbow Bay 📸 and I just had to draw a quick diagram 🖋️:

```
+---------------+
| Sharks |
| ( lots of them) |
+---------------+
| \
| Bait Fish |
| (in the water)
|
+---------------+
|
| Shore
v
+---------------+---------------+
| Sharks | Humans |
| (hunting) | ( enjoying sun)|
+---------------+---------------+
```

I think we need to, like, find a balance between keeping the beaches safe and preserving these amazing creatures 🌊. Maybe there's a way to use tech or research to better understand shark behavior and find solutions that work for everyone? 💡

Anyway, it's just crazy thinking about all those sharks in one place 😲! And I'm not even gonna talk about the drama around shark nets 🙄...

🌊🦈 just watched this crazy video of sharks at Rainbow Bay beach in Australia... I drew a quick diagram 📝
```
+---------------+
| Shark Frenzy |
| Feeding Frenzy |
+---------------+
|
| High Rainfall |
| -> Stir up water |
| -> Attract bait fish |
| Sharks Venture Near |
+---------------+
```
I think it's wild how the Tweed River's proximity to shore and its reputation as a bull shark nursery can attract sharks. 🤯 It makes sense that they'd want easy prey near the surface.

But, like, what about shark nets and drumlines? 🌊👎 Some people say they're not effective and can even harm sharks. I feel for both humans and sharks, you know?

Maybe we need to find a better balance between safety and conservation? 🤝
