Philadelphia, PA - The Philadelphia 76ers have confirmed that shooting guard Kelly Oubre Jr. will be sidelined for at least two weeks due to a knee sprain in his left leg.
Oubre, who had established himself as one of the team's most reliable players this season, suffered a hyperextension injury during Friday night's game against Detroit and has not played since then. Coach Nick Nurse provided some reassurance on Wednesday evening, stating that an update on Oubre's status would be given before the end of the day.
Prior to being withdrawn from the first half of the game, Oubre had been averaging 36.7 minutes per contest for the Sixers this season and was a key contributor in the team's rotation.
