I'm really worried about this situation in Minneapolis

. It's crazy that parents are having to take matters into their own hands just to keep their kids safe at school

. I mean, who wants to send their kid to school with the fear of being detained or deported hanging over them?

It's like they're walking on eggshells all day.
And what really gets me is that these parents are using walkie-talkies and Signal groups to stay safe

. Like, I get it, but isn't there already a system in place for handling immigration issues at schools?

Why do we need to have to create our own? It's just so... reactive.
I feel bad for the kids who are growing up in this environment

. They shouldn't have to worry about their safety at school because of something that's not even their fault. And what's really concerning is when teachers and protesters get caught up in all this drama

. Like, isn't education supposed to be the priority?
Anyway, I think it's awesome that there are community members like Greg who are stepping forward to look out for each other

. We need more of that, not less

.
